The AKC Mission Statement: The American Kennel Club is dedicated to upholding the integrity of its Registry, promoting the sport of purebred dogs and breeding for type and function.
To this end, the AKC has developed many different sports to prove a well-structured dog is sound and of good temperament. Some of those will be highlighted here on our website, but the full list can be found here on AKC's website.
